REACH - Concurrent Enrollment
Minnesota West collaborates with more than 20 high schools to offer college-level classes in your high school by qualified high school teachers.
- Enroll in courses taught by qualified high-school teachers who collaborate closely with a college faculty member.
- Receive high-school credit and Minnesota West college credit.
REACH eligibility
Minnesota High School juniors and seniors may be eligible to take one or more college-level courses in their High School if they meet certain requirements. Students are encouraged to speak with their High School counselor.
- 11th & 12th grade: High School GPA of 2.6(+) in Reading or 2.8(+) in Math
- ACT Scores: 24 or higher as a junior and 21 ACT or higher as a senior
If you do not meet the eligibility requirements:
- Students may qualify under the Multiple Measures Course Placement (MMCP) initiative (student transcripts and test scores should be sent to the K-12 Collaboration Coordinator for review).
- If you do not qualify under MMCP, you are able to take or re-take the Accuplacer assessment.
