Head Men’s Soccer Coach 

The Men’s Soccer Coach will be responsible for planning and directing the recruitment, conditioning, training, and performance of student athletes.

Other responsibilities include fiscal program management, scheduling coordination, and day-to-day operations of the NJCAA Division III intercollegiate soccer program.

Located on the Worthington campus

Salary Range: $12,920 - $21,567

  • Responsibilities:
    Student-athlete recruitment – Ability to identify prospective student-athletes, assess talent, and build relationships.
  • Coaching – Ability to plan practices, teach strategy, advance individual skills, enhance strength and conditioning, scout opponents, and engage in video review with individuals and team; ability to motivate individuals and team in pursuit of top performance.
  • Player development – Ability to provide academic support and personal mentoring through individual and team meetings.
  • Fundraising – Ability to plan alumni and fan events and cultivate donor relations
  • Day-to-day operations/transactions – Ability to manage budgets within allocated parameters, complete administrative transactions in a timely manner; engage in departmental communication with various staff to support the program and student-athletes.
  • Technology system management – Ability to use technology effectively in communication and teaching, including filming, editing, and film exchange.
  • Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Compliance – Knowledge of and commitment to institutional policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Evidence of soccer coaching ability.
  • Understanding of the comprehensive duties of collegiate coaching.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in physical education, exercise science or kinesiology or
  • Master’s degree in any field with a minimum of 16 graduate semester credits (24graduate quarter credits) in physical education.
  • Playing experience at the college level.

Bus Drivers

Drive the Minnesota West Bluejays/Ladyjays to their away games.

Position Description:
Position is part-time as needed. Choose from a list of events and dates to drive the 26-passenger bus. A class B license with a bus driver endorsement is required. Pay ranges from $20.51 to $22.94 per hour with an overnight event stipend of $100 per night.

Nursing Assistant Role Actors

Role Description:

  • Role: Resident or person receiving care during skills tests.
  • Responsibilities: Follow provided scripts and scenarios to realistically portray a healthcare client.
  • Training: Mandatory training provided by the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Testing Company, Headmaster, to become a certified actor.
  • Location: Opportunities available in Granite Falls, Marshall, and Jackson, MN areas.
  • Schedule: Part-time, year-round opportunity. Test-out times vary by site location and typically run weekdays (various dates) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registered Nurse Test Observers

Role Description:

  • Role: Administer the Minnesota Nurse Aid Competency Exam.
  • Locations: Granite Falls and Jackson.
  • Qualifications: Qualified candidates will administer the Nurse Aid Competency exam per the protocols and procedures approved by the State of Minnesota. A current Minnesota Registered Nursing license and 1 year of experience in long-term care is required.
