Semester Start-up Reminders
- Log into eServices to check the following:
- Review tuition/fees statement and set up method of payment (checking, savings, financial aid, scholarships, etc.)
- Review your Student Planner (Degree Audit Report) and contact your advisor with any questions
- Check class schedule for accuracy, times, and location
- Order textbooks from the Online Bookstore
- Log into D2L to review courses (if applicable)
- Review the online Help Center/Knowledge Base.

Photo Scavenger Hunt - Prizes to the most creative team! Find out more at the Student Services desk.
Email Drawing: Using your STUDENT EMAIL, send your Luverne Center Student Services Specialist (jill.arp@mnwest.edu) a message about yourself (example: name & program, why you picked Minnesota West, favorite animal, your favorite foods, or hobbies, etc.). Once your email is received, you will be entered in a drawing for prizes!
Chat Sessions - Don’t hesitate to join a chat session or visit Student Services if you are having any trouble accessing D2L, eServices, student email, financial aid, tutor.com, etc. We want your Fall Semester to be a success!

Bird Hunt
Beginning Monday morning, search the Pipestone campus each day for a hidden Bluejay
or blue duck and return it to Student Services for a prize. One prize per day, per
student, Monday through Wednesday. Multiple blue ducks are hidden each day, but only
one Bluejay is worth the grand prize!
Bluejay Count-Off
Stop by the Student Services Office and guess how many blue Hershey's Kisses are in
the jar for a chance to win. The closest guess will receive a prize on Wednesday.
